Item Status Messages: Help
At Bindery [date]
Item has been sent out to a commercial bindery on the date indicated,
and should be returned within approximately three weeks of that
date. Place an Interlibrary Loan
request if needed immediately.
At Repl [date]
Usually refers to items that are awaiting a replacement issue before
binding. The item can be requested at the Bird 2nd Floor Reserve
Desk between 8am and 5pm, Monday - Friday. Every effort will be
made to retrieve the item within 24 hours.
Available
The item is not charged out to another user and should be on the
shelf. If a circulating item is listed as Available
and you cannot find it, first double check the catalog to see if
it has been assigned a temporary location (on reserve, at the bindery,
at reference). If it hasn't been assigned a temporary location inquire
at the Circulation Desk. It may be in the process of being shelved.
Bird-BSD, ask for material via in-process request form
Sent to Preservation Department for stiffening. The item is not
available for circulation but you can place a request at the Circulation
Desk for in-library use of the item.
Checked Out
The item is charged to another user until the date specified. Use
a Recall
Request Form to request a recall.

The message appears for multivolume works, or a work that we have
more than one copy of. Click on the title to view the status of
each piece.
No item data available, ask for assistance
This message is an error. Items may be in the preorder process,
or are on order but have not yet been received. Items can be requested
through Interlibrary Loan.
Renewed
The item is currently charged out to another user, and has been renewed
for another loan period. Use a Recall Request for to request a recall.
